What better way to reach your markets!

There is no better platform than the web to sell your product to the widest audience as possible and despite all of our recession woes the amount of online sales continues to rise.

Shopping online offers consumers the convenience of being able to sit in their pants and order the goods in the comfort of their own home with huge savings compared to what is offered on the high street. But if you’re reading this you already know what’s been going on and are ready to take advantage of the ever increasing rising trend in online sales (as opposed to sitting in your pants).

The biggest platform that most major online retailers use for their ecommerce is Magento and you may have already come across this in your initial research. There are many advantages to using this platform and we like to use it for the larger national clients such as Defibshop (link to portfolio) because its great at standardising product descriptions and already has a lot of intuitive user interface features that we are used to seeing and using on ecommerce sites.

However, we don’t always think that Magento is the right fit for everybody and smaller start-up businesses or creative sellers with unique and bespoke individual products can often fall into the trap of spending a lot of money on a massive system that they, their products and their potential consumers aren’t quite ready for. We are more concerned about getting to know about you, your products, your consumer goals and targets  - we’ll then offer to build you a system using components that meet your specific requirements and can prove a positive return on investments within its first few months of trading.
